چکیده

For automatic and recursive graphs, we investigate the following problems: (A) existence of a Hamiltonian path and existence of an infinite path in a tree (B) existence of an Euler path, bounding the number of ends, and bounding the number of infinite branches in a tree (C) existence of an infinite clique and an infinite version of set cover The complexity of these problems is determined for automatic graphs and, supplementing results from the literature, for recursive graphs. Our results show that these problems (A) are equally complex for automatic and for recursive graphs (Σ11-complete), (B) are moderately less complex for automatic than for recursive graphs (complete for different levels of the arithmetic hierarchy), (C) are much simpler for automatic than for recursive graphs (decidable and Σ11-complete, resp.). §

A NEW MULTIPLE CRITERIA DECISION-MAKING METHOD BASED ON BIPOLAR FUZZY SOFT GRAPHS

In this research study, we present a novel frame work for handling bipolar fuzzy soft information by combining bipolar fuzzy soft sets with graphs. We introduce several basic notions concerning bipolar fuzzy soft graphs and investigate some related properties. We also consider the application of the bipolar fuzzy soft graphs. In particular, three efficient algorithms are developed to solve mult...

META-HEURISTIC ALGORITHMS FOR MINIMIZING THE NUMBER OF CROSSING OF COMPLETE GRAPHS AND COMPLETE BIPARTITE GRAPHS

The minimum crossing number problem is among the oldest and most fundamental problems arising in the area of automatic graph drawing. In this paper, eight population-based meta-heuristic algorithms are utilized to tackle the minimum crossing number problem for two special types of graphs, namely complete graphs and complete bipartite graphs. A 2-page book drawing representation is employed for ...

Message Sequence Graphs and Decision Problems on Mazurkiewicz Traces

Message sequence charts (MSC) are a graphical speciica-tion language widely used for designing communication protocols. Our starting point are two decision problems concerning the correctness and the consistency of a design based by MSC graphs. Both problems are shown to be undecidable, in general. Using a natural connectivity assumption from Mazurkiewicz trace theory we show both problems to b...

CERTAIN TYPES OF EDGE m-POLAR FUZZY GRAPHS

In this research paper, we present a novel frame work for handling $m$-polar information by combining the theory of $m-$polar fuzzy  sets with graphs. We introduce certain types of edge regular $m-$polar fuzzy graphs and edge irregular $m-$polar fuzzy graphs. We describe some useful properties of edge regular, strongly edge irregular and strongly edge totally irregular $m-$polar fuzzy graphs. W...

Modelling Decision Problems Via Birkhoff Polyhedra

A compact formulation of the set of tours neither in a graph nor its complement is presented and illustrates a general methodology proposed for constructing polyhedral models of decision problems based upon permutations, projection and lifting techniques. Directed Hamilton tours on n vertex graphs are interpreted as (n-1)- permutations. Sets of extrema of Birkhoff polyhedra are mapped to tours ...
